Save Gas, Money, and our Environment!

Today's tips are on how to save money while at your local pump station. I am writing this post from Toronto, Canada where gas prices have hit $1.08 per Litre. For an average family with average salary it's rather hard for someone to shell out $30 - $50 every two weeks for gas. The following tips are general tips and some might not apply to you right this instance, but I'd advise to keep them in mind.

I have compiled 10 things to do to save fuel. Earth Hour was recent so I thought this would be a good follow up article. More...

Photos from your camera direct to your TV!

Want to show your friends and family a slide show of photos of your holiday? Don't want to get them developed? Want a quick and easy way to show the pictures? Well in this article I'm going to show you how to quickly and easily show the pictures from your digital camera on your TV directly through the camera, without any troublesome burning to CD and using a DVD player.

What you will need:

  • A TV with a composite connection. This means 3 little red, white and yellow phono ports like the ones highlighted in the picture.

  • Your camera, providing you bought it new from a shop, should come with a lead that connects to your camera and ends in a yellow phono plug.
