In the UK the ptrol price is around £1.48 (GBP) per 1.25 litre (source: http://www.theaa.com/motoring_advice/fuel/) - in dollars that makes it around $2.93 (USD) - or $1.74 extra in 4 years (hint: over half). Sucks really!
